Best practices for implementing AS13100 applicable to the supply chain of aerospace engine manufacturers – #731
Context
The AS13100 standard, titled “AESQ Quality Management System – Requirements for Aero Engine Design and Production Organizations”, defines supplemental requirements for all companies within the aerospace engine supply chain.
Endorsed by the Consortium of Aerospace Engine Manufacturers—including General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce, and Safran Aircraft Engines—AS13100 has been contractually applicable since 2023. It integrates the principles and tools of operational quality excellence, widely recognized in the automotive sector.
This standard is applicable to the entire aerospace engine supply chain and is supported by a series of reference manuals (RM13XXX), which provide deployment guidance and case studies to help suppliers implement the requirements effectively.
This training course equips participants with the key concepts and best practices for implementing AS13100, a standard that goes beyond EN9100 and EN9145, ensuring enhanced quality management within the aerospace engine sector.
