Context
- You have little electrical/electronic or software knowledge of the automotive sector and are looking for basic knowledge to be able to carry out activities related to this theme: software updates, guided analysis of electrical/electronic faults, etc.
- You want to improve your ability to understand the needs of your customers in the automotive sector and become a key player in this field, developing the electrical/electronics market in both software and hardware.
Objectives
- Understand the different physical electrical quantities
- Be aware of the orders of magnitude appropriate to the thermal/electric vehicle
- Be able to use equipment to measure the physical quantities covered
- Understand the different modes of operation between the different types of vehicle propulsion
- Be aware of the assemblies and their components that manage the vehicle’s functions
- Know the types of communication and the different reprogramming equipment to be used for each component covered
- Have an understanding of communication architectures and protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN)
- Understand the usefulness of traceability and security

- Simplified operation of a combustion, hybrid and electric car (battery, electric motor, etc.)
- Notions of the architecture of simplified car functions (ADAS, infotainment, etc.)
- Notions of reprogramming (reflash): theory and practical workshop (understanding the different stages of software: bootloader / application software / calibration, etc.).
