Context
- You have a good knowledge of ISO 9001 and would like to learn about the additional requirements of the automotive sector IATF 16949:2016.
- Following a new appointment, you are looking to learn about the requirements of IATF 16949:2016.
- You are looking for a correct interpretation and understanding through examples for the relevant application of the requirements.
Objectives
- Discover and understand the requirements applicable to the automotive industry contained in IATF 16949:2016.
- Identify the applicable requirements of the IATF 16949:2016 standard in your processes.
Recommanded for
- Anyone whose work is covered by IATF 16949.
Specific operating conditions for remote sessions
- Have a PC equipped with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: wallpapers are available on Zoom or Teams to hide the background.
- Have a good Internet connection, which should be tested before the session.
- Settle down in a quiet, isolated place; set yourself to “unavailable” status on Teams; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session.
- Participants from the same organisation should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at their own desk.
- The end-of-course knowledge test must be taken with your webcam and microphone turned on. We may need to verify that you are alone in the room.
- Please sign in 5 minutes before the start of the session.
Prerequisites
- Have a good knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001.
- Bring the ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards, which are not provided.
Training method
- Practical exercises and reinforcement are alternated to gradually introduce participants to the standard. Group work, followed by feedback sessions, will enable participants to strengthen their understanding of the requirements and associated risks.
- For in-company training, a half-day preparation session will allow the training material to be adapted using examples specific to the company’s context.

- Knowledge test (multiple-choice questions)

- Participant file containing the presentations given during the training and exercise materials.
- Please bring the ISO 9001: 2015 and IATF 16949: 2016 standards, which are not provided.
- Digital training materials are made available to trainees a few days before the start of the training course on our LMS platform.
