CQI-23 – Special Process – Molding System Assessment: the method – #2523
Categories :
790.00 € HT
Context
- CQI-23 (Moulding System Assessment) is a standard developed by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) to evaluate and improve moulding process control, with a focus on plastic injection moulding, widely used in the automotive industry.
- In compliance with IATF 16949 and to meet specific customer requirements, this standard applies to all automotive suppliers using plastic injection moulding processes. The CQI-23 assessment helps reduce the risk of failure in plastic injection moulding, ensures the reliability and performance of plastic components, and guarantees adherence to the quality, safety, and performance requirements expected by car manufacturers.
- CQI-23 is part of a continuous improvement approach for special processes, providing a structured framework for self-assessment of moulding process control, equipment compliance, staff competence, and the effectiveness of existing controls.
- This training allows participants to understand the requirements and best practices of CQI-23, apply the self-assessment rules, and implement improvement actions to optimise their moulding processes.
Objectives
- Understand the specific requirements of clients who require CQI-23.
- Be familiar with the content of the CQI-23 manual (self-assessment tables, job audits, etc.).
- Identify the key points of the manual and the gaps that need to be addressed to comply with it.
- Learn how to use the self-assessment criteria in the CQI-23 manual through a case study focusing on technical aspects.
- Develop an action plan to implement the CQI-23 manual.
